Oh, he did the research. But the problem with Washington is that it was spending way too much time trying to be that infamous “politically correct.” But he did make the first real effort by relieving Hussein of Iraq when Saddam went too far by invading Kuwait in August of 1990 after his gassing of the Kurds killing approximately 5000 there in 1988. He had also been collaberating with Al Qaeda, the Taliban, and Bin Laden. He was dangerous and Bush knew it.

The Clinton administration knew it and did nothing but toss a few missiles in and killed a night watchman at the Al-Shifa pharmaceutical factory in Khartoum North, Sudan in August 1998. “Infinite Reach” did not destroy the WMD, VX, plant as it was not there.
