The dismantling of Obamacare is going to end up a nightmare for Republicans. It’s all about the money - Republicans want to spend less - Democrats do not. Spending less means that something will be taken away and when free stuff or almost free stuff is taken away all hell breaks loose.
Yes, but with Obummercare, we spend more and get less. So, by removing Obummercare the logic would be that we’d spend less and get more.
Yeah, but unlike with most entitlements, this one has a huge anti-constituency. People aren’t going to get out the torches and pitchforks trying to get pols to end some welfare program that doesn’t hurt them except for the deficit. EVERYBODY gets screwed by Ebolacare, many many more than are getting something for nothing. So this may not be the typical case of entitlement repeal.
