If non-plant living things cannot exhale carbon (CO2) they die. All of them, including marine life and endangered species, and incidentally, people.

The greatest source of terrestrial CO2 by far are termites. We must mount a "Manhattan Project" class of war against termites. Maybe we can nuke them! Human beings consist of hydrocarbons.
