I was pretty sure it was a publicity stunt, and I warned my wife that she would probably get up on stage and strip it off. Never happened however. I guess we shall see.
I just read an interview with the designer and he is a big Trump supporter and says Joy is too. He said what inspired him was when Madonna talked about blowing up the White House, that it angered him so much they decided on the dress.
Knowing that she is Filipino, I knew this was probably real but a bit over the top. I am glad she did it. Filipinos are typically very conservative and if in America, very patriotic for the most part. They do like their filipino food though.....I do to. So good.
