Trump can do no right in the eyes of the liberal media. This will be the nature of things for a long time.

Trump can do no right in the eyes of the liberal media. This will be the nature of things for a long time.

It was the same with RWR.

Everything he did made the MSM throw up their hands and roll their eyes.

Every time he challenged the USSR, the Democrats and MSM said he was undercutting the "moderates" in the USSR and strengthening the "hardliners."

Every time he strengthened our forces around the world, the fake-news MSM said he was moving the world closer to a nuclear Armageddon.

There were several made-for-TV movies about it, one was called "The Day After," and was played on the ABC Television Network on 20 November 1983, after much discussion. Carl Sagan and his "TTAPS" group was all over television, talking about "nuclear winter" and the end of the world if we resisted in any way the Soviet Union.

During his first term, Reagan declined to "work with the USSR." Instead, he worked with the Pentagon and contractors to build up our war-fighting capability after it had been allowed to fall apart after Vietnam.

The Democrats reached out to communist governments all over the world. Teddy Kennedy reached out covertly to the USSR, asking them to help him undermine Reagan. Other Congressional democrats reached out to Nicaragua's Daniel Ortega, along with various Hollywood movie stars.

All of this nastiness and sedition was ignored by Reagan. He, and his cabinet, just ignored it. The Union of Concerned Scientists kept moving the Doomsday Clock closer to midnight, and the fake-news MSM covered it every time.

The German anti-nuclear song "99 Red Balloons" was made into a hit record here, even though it was a crappy song compared to the others on the radio at the time.

The fake-news MSM Democrats did a full-court press on everything Reagan did, including foreign policy. Of course, a media "full court press" back then wasn't like today, because there was no World Wide Web, no hand-held texting devices, no YouTube, no Facebook, etc.

Events soon overcame them, starting with KAL 007.
