Whether or not you believe that voting fraud is a problem in the U.S., one thing is certain: Tidying up outdated voter rolls is sometimes easier said than done. Just ask election officials in the nation’s largest city.
After an independent review found that New York City’s voting lists contained people who were dead or in prison, elections officials began an aggressive purge in 2014 and 2015 that eliminated more than 200,000 supposedly invalid registrations. The result? A record number of complaints during the 2016 presidential primary from legal voters who turned up to cast a ballot, but found that they were no longer registered.
“Democracy itself is under attack,” New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a Democrat, declared last week after announcing plans to join a federal lawsuit over the way the purge was handled.

Since it’s a Dem town,I suspect that idiots are the only ones available to hire for a political patronage job like that.
That’s one way of putting it. They are, of course, trying to make it seem somehow impossible to do a proper voter roll cleanup, in their fakenews fashion.
It doesn’t work when Democrats do the purging. They have a propensity to go after anyone not a Democrat rather than someone breaking the law.

I’ve heard the same thing about the justice system. Occasionally, the wrong people get arrested for murder. By their reasoning, we shouldn’t arrest anyone. Unstopped murderers are just an unfortunate side-effect.

Purge doesn’t mean to go through name by name. It means destroy the entire list. If you wish to vote, you have four years to re-register.
My plan:
Purge after every national election
Register with two forms of govt. issued ID. One must prove citizenship
ID required to vote
Eliminate early voting
Social Security notifies banks when SS has a death reported. Why is SS prohibited from also notifying the local election officials? This wouldn’t capture info for those registered to vote in a locale other than the one listed by SS (retirement home, etc.), but it would get a bunch of dead folks off the rolls.

Exactly how many of the 200,000 supposedly invalid registrations were actually valid??? Three???
Why do MSM reporters go out of their way to mislead their readers??? By chance do they have an agenda???? Of course not, just like there is no voter fraud there is also no media bias!!!!!
