for the actual news conference. At the end (Questions from the press), he made that statement (about settlements). However, the response sounded more aimed to that reporter in that he didn’t want to discuss settlements until he completed his conferences with the PM.
The President is a tough negotiator. He only reneges when there has been a breach by the other party first, similar to attacking after he’s been attacked first.
He has not reneged here. He’s saying hold off a bit. No one should second guess him. The reasons will become clear when they need to be made clear, if they need to be.
Coming from NBC, it would be best to verify anything they put out.
Might be a statement at Netanyahu’s request. Bibi is really no friend of Israeli ‘settlements’, but is forced to support them politically. Trump might be aiding Netanyahu against Israel’s Right.
Was he talking to the reporter or Net?
