PA: We're committed to the 'two-state solution'

The Palestinian Authority (PA) on Wednesday evening reacted to the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu.

A statement from PA chairman Mahmoud Abbas’s office said that the PA remains committed to the two-state solution and is willing to work with Trump’s administration to achieve a peace agreement.

At the same time, the statement criticized Netanyahu and claimed that “Israel’s insistence on destroying the two-state solution will lead to more extremism and more instability.”

“We are ready to work positively with the Trump administration in order to bring peace,” the statement continued, “but the Israeli Prime Minister’s return to using language which dictates the continuation of Israeli control over the western borders of Palestine, as well as his demand for recognition of Israel as a Jewish state - all these are attempts to impose facts on the ground, destroy the two-state solution and replace it with the principle of an apartheid state.”

Apartheid state ? You really have to wonder if this terrorist Abbas actually believes his own lies . Israeli's are free , even the Arab ones . It's Abbas that wants an apartheid state free of Jews. STOP REWARDING this terrorist and his henchmen , stop giving him money . Trump should ignore him and REFUSE to meet with him. If the Palestinians want peace let THEM lay down their weapons . What they are is a pack of murderous liars that teach their children to kill , maim and destroy.

It's way past time to annex Judea and Samaria piece by piece .

No they aren’t.

Not as long as they refuse to accept the Jewish State and try to impose a multilateral solution on Israel.

The Prime Minister spelled out Israel’s prerequisites for a deal.

Its been there forever and the Palestinian Arabs continue to avoid the real issue.

Israel is a Jewish state, or it's no state at all. The "two-state solution" argument falls sort of flat if you don't recognize Israel's right to exist.

And there is no reason to tear it up to create another terrorist state.

Where exactly is this ‘Palestine’ ? I’ve looked on the maps, and the closest thing I can find is a neighborhood called Palestine/Al-Quds.

Dear PA: Acknowledge Israel’s right to exist, then we’ll talk. Not before.

there never was a palestine land- only a group of homeless wandering arabs who occupied land that was never theirs, then claimed it as their own- sort of like if Mexicans crossed our boarder, occupied some land, then declared that land Mexico and said Americans don’t have a right to exist- We sure as hell wouldn’t put up with that- nor should the Israelis-

We have had a two state solution already for many years, Jordan and Israel.

Was not Jordan created for the Palestinians?

Or is that an inconvenient truth?
