I’m thinking there’s much more to this than “Trump is an ass”.
There’s a lot more behind the scenes to this that we’re not being told.... Yet.
The buck stops with the President.
What we heard today - the media didn’t push Trump to fire Flynn.
He took that decision himself. If he felt it was unfair to Flynn, he could have refused his letter of resignation.
But don’t shove someone out of the door and not accept the responsibility for it.
As a CEO and President, that’s what Trump should have done.
For Sure there is a lot more. This is a war and Mr. Trump is aware of what is at stake. Sean Spicer is very careful to just say that Flynn was asked to go for a loss of trust. Maybe they can find a way back for trust to be restored.
At least the dark side got an apparent victory, but their battle efforts have been revealed.
Mr. Trump gains a major hand when he is able to proceed knowing crimes have been committed in the release of classified information. This is what HRC became famous for, and we can only hope that DOJ is back on the proper track.
I do not think we have heard the last of Mike Flynn. We have to see this played out. The dark side wants Mr. Trump's orange scalp. He must deny them.
