Report: Roman Polanski Wants to Return to U.S., Settle Child Rape Case
Breitbart ^ | February 16, 2017 | By Daniel Nussbaum

Fugitive director Roman Polanski will reportedly attempt to have his decades-long child rape case resolved so that he may return to the United States without fear of arrest or incarceration.

According to TMZ, the 83-year-old director’s attorney, Harland Braun, has asked a Los Angeles judge to review what it reports is a “long-secret transcript” of the prosecutor’s testimony during Polanski’s trial.

The attorney claims the transcript proves that the Pianist director had agreed to a plea deal to serve just 48 days in jail, and that the judge had agreed to the deal. Polanski was convicted of raping a child after a photo shoot in Los Angeles in 1977 and spent 42 days in prison before being released.

But the director later fled the country for Europe when he feared that the judge in his case backed out of the deal and suggested prosecutors give him 50 years in prison.

According to TMZ, Polanski’s victim has asked the judge to close the case without giving the director any more jail time. . .

If he wants to come back and face a firing squad he’s very welcome to return

Polanski’s victim asked the judge not to give him additional jail time.
I guess that the check cleared ok then....

Convicted of drugging and raping a young girl...fugitive for decades.Yah,come on back, pig! But don't be surprised if you die in prison. And also don't be surprised if you get the treatment from your new found friends that all child rapists get!

The Polanski victim’s opinion doesn’t supersede the statutes concerning such matters.

Prison...

He also faces charges of flight to avoid prosecution, delayed justice, and probably a host of other charges that could be levied.

Not sure delayed justice is a violation in and of itself. It probably falls in under flight but it is an issue for me, if not the state.

Let him come back and spend the rest of his life in prison.

Sounds good.

I wonder if he offered to name names. With Pizzagate escalating, he may figure this is a time to strike a deal before more people are outed?

He gave a 13 year old girl wine and quaaludes, then vaginally, orally and anally raped her. Then, after confession and conviction, he fled the country.

The only discussion should be which prison he should die in.

Should have done that with Obama in office. Not that I am defending this rapist in any way.

That’s the mystery, isn’t it? Eight years of obama, and Polanski lets it slide. Then Sessions gets installed as AG, and Polanski figures he’ll take his chances?

Makes no sense.

And if the judge and prosecutor even thought about 42 days, much less agreed to it they should be added to the firing squad. If there’s anything worse than “rape rape”, as Whoopi Goldberg would put it, then drugging and raping a child would be it.

What prosecutor agreed to 48 days for drugging and raping a child?

He might think that, because of his age (83) and notoriety, that he won't be sent to PRISON.

Maybe he figures with Trump and Sessions he might be walking down the streets of Paris one day and suddenly get a bag put over his head, shoved into the back of a van and be flown as military cargo back to the States. Extradition? No, he just magically appeared in front of a courthouse in handcuffs. Time to plea out now and hope be doesn’t get more prison time.
