No matter how much they loathe President Trump, if they were asked to accompany him, they would jump at it like a starving snake on a juicy green frog.
My guess is that for security reasons Trump’s rally will be inside a hangar, where there won’t be room for a jumbo jet and the people.

Well I think the president is required to fly af1. For campaign stops I think the party or campaign pay reasonable fares.

course, nothing happened when AF1 backup was flown over NYC with 2 F16s for a 2009 photo-op.
