As I understand it:
1. We have known about this Obama directive for some time and, of course, so has Trump.
2. The Flynn wiretap leak was a direct result of Obama’s action. It turned out poorly for Trump and Flynn.
So ... Has Trump reversed the directive?
He should have. He may have.
But I have not read that he has. If not then either he is being given very bad advice or he is running a sting. Time will tell.
If the Left doesn’t think O’Keefe hasn’t already infiltrated OFA looking for more destructive planning, then, again, they’re doomed to repeat history.
I'm hoping it's a sting. If there's 10 bad people, wouldn't be good if you manage to throw 2 in jail, and 5 actually stop, because that still leaves 3 actively subverting the administration's mission. Better to wait longer and take the increasing complaints about inaction to assure as many people as possible get thrown in jail.
betting on a sting - in fact i am wondering if some of the fake news that has shown up in last couple weeks was part of the web of disinformation fed to certain people as part of the trap.
There can be no other explanation, imho...otherwise he'd have undone it immediately. I've read he's feeding false info through the pipeline(s)
