There was speculation Imus might retire but he recently re-upped with Cumulus Media.. Don-o was born the same month as Ringo Starr, July of 1940

He's slowly fading into retirement. Under his latest contract his show is now only three hours in the morning (6-9 Eastern Time), and he's off on Fridays when they do a "Best of Imus" show.

Like him or not, the guy is a legend in the radio business. It wasn't all that long ago that a 30-second advertising spot cost more on his show than anywhere else.
