It has to be Ginsburg but I can see the real possibility that President Trump may be filling four vacancies over the next eight years. The SCOTUS will have a conservative super majority that may well last decades.

If he does nothing else in four years two Supreme Court picks will be enough. Can you imagine what we’d be going through if Hillary was President. Sometimes I get so angry at all the protesting but you know what.. we did that too, we did it with purpose and about issues, but that is how the Tea Party was formed. I pray they don’t organize as well as we did, but we all now that if nothing else, socialists can organize..

Agree, I think it’s Ruth Buzzi as she’s already got one foot in.

It has to be Ginsburg
IMHO Kennedy doesn’t retire first; as matters stand this is actually the Kennedy Court. Whatever he rules is the decision of the court, and that has to be heady stuff.

But if Ginsburg were to leave - and be replaced by a good Trump nomination from his list - Kennedy would find himself usually being either the unnecessary sixth winning vote or the fourth vote on the losing side.

So it would not surprise me if a Ginzburg retirement precipitated a Kennedy retirement.

Ginsburg recently said she’s staying through next year, but is taking it one year at a time.
