would think so and confiscation of the home may be a deterrent. I would be though to hide this activity from the neighbors. Coming and going etc. I know I would drop a dime (now a quarter) on them in a heart beat.

Based on utilities usage and internal heating from many people present (thermal scan), a suspicion of a marijuana grow operation probably could gain a search warrant. While the search is in progress, and everyone is detained outside, checking of ID with ICE in the neighborhood would be possible.
