Democratic congressman and DNC chair front-runner Keith Ellison once said that black people dont live in a democracy and dont have an obligation to obey the government.
Ellison made the comments at a 1992 protest after white police officers were acquitted in the beating of Rodney King. At least 63 people died in the racially charged riots following the verdict.
Minnesota newspaper the Star Tribune quotes Ellison as telling a group of protesters in Minneapolis that Black people do not live under a democracy.
You dont have an obligation to obey a government that considers you to be less than human, Ellison said.

The left never learned their lesson after they lost the house. They never learned their lesson when they lost the Senate.
They still have not learned their lesson after losing the White House.
Defending illegals, criminals, cross dressing , and going even more to the left only gives us more victories.
It seems like many of them paid attention.
Keith Ellison for DNC Chair!
I am praying they elect this guy. It would be a dream come true.
During the "exhilirating hope and change" years of the Obama presidency, Democrats lost a net 13 Senate seats, 63 House seats, nine governorships and more than 1,000 state and local elected positions.
"Decimation" is much too kind to describe the Democrats' plight.
It's time to start winning but Democrats think they can win just by stressing their "deep goodness" over "Trump's evil."
Democrats just have to try harder......they aren't making the effort to appeal to their natural fun-loving base: like crackheads, the endearing Black Lives Matter and Burqua-wearing sophisticates.
That's so true.......I hear Keith's more focused on immigration lately.
DEMOCRATS ARE REALLY, REALLY EXCITED OVER THE
PROSPECT OF MASSIVE AFRICAN MUSLIM MIGRATION INTO
THE US IF MUSLIM CONG KEITH ELLISON GETS THE DNC JOB.
There's 350,000 Muslim Somalis camped out on the Kenyan border.

Then-Sen Obama (Kenya native) supported this Somali Muslim--Mohamed Abdi---in his election bid to the Kenya Parliament. Mohamed Abdi was NOT elected.
A dual national, Somali Muslim Mohamed Abdi was active in the Keith Ellison Congressional campaign in the US.
Keith, we are all pulling for you to become the DNC Chairman.
” You dont have an obligation to obey a government that considers you to be less than human, Ellison said.”
Not sure how wrong he is on that statement. Doesn’t mean he is right on anything else. It does not not matter what the government thinks of us because we have no obligation of obedience to it. At least in our Constitution the idea is that the government is to obey us, its citizens. Our Constitution does not compel us to do anything in terms of obedience. It does however limit what our government may do. Laws that comply with our Constitution and rights (and of course common law and good sense) are to be followed because they represent the people and its proxy the government.
As DNC Chair he’ll be the gift that keeps on giving...
And giving....
And giving...
The Germans attacked Pearl Harbor Keith, remember that!
Never knew you were such a nice guy ... so kind of you to give Keith a history lesson.
That’s no different than current or past Dimocrat thinking.
Dems have not learned a thing from this last election. They still believe that their future lies in their past of identity politics. It is like a heroin addict who cannot kick his race and gender card addiction.
I would rather Ellison wins. He would do more harm to The Party, and Perez is probably smarter and therefore more dangerous.
And defending grown men in little girls bathrooms... Democrats must be soooooooo proud of their party.
Dem party form JFK tot he party of freaks, whack jobs, and out of touch elitist .
Pipe down, y’all. The time to be bringing this up is after he’s elected.
