Goes to show Illinois is another example of the big difference between northern and southern halves, like California and Italy.
Not really the northern and southern halves of Illinois, it’s basically Cook County (Chicago, surrounding suburbs) vs. the rest of the state!
Yes my Brother-in-Law is from Southern Illinois. He fits right in here in the Florida Panhandle. In fact he is probably even a little more conservative than average around here.
Just a small corner of the northern part, if you please. Most of Illinois, north and south, are as red as Indiana.
