Freeze promotions in addition to hiring. Also freeze transfer actions out of the EPA. We don’t want these turds transferring into operations at Defense or ICE.

THIS IS GREAT to show.

EPA, for all the bluster, slashing wouldn’t put a DENT in our debt compared to Medicare and SS.

It’s just the truth. Besides Medicare, SS and the military, only so much can be saved

and NOT NEARLY enough to offset the future medicare growth.

It’s not fair but everyone under 55 should not receive until 70.

Or there will be no country to retire in.

Agreed - veto debt increase on March 15th

the 800,000 non-essential federal employees and hundreds of thousands of consultants can be ‘temporarily’ furloughed until the budget is balanced

Turmoil-tossed? If this first month is turmoil, give me 8 years of turmoil. The only ones in turmoil are hand-wringing media shills. The fact NYT cites four unnamed sources doesn’t necessarily mean this was a leak - it very well could be Trump floating a trial balloon.

Missing from any post are the words: Ponzi, illegal, unconstitutional.

There’s only one ‘valid’ way to cut MediXYZ: Follow and enforce the Constitution and call it what it is....void from the get-go.

Then add in EPA, TSA, NSA, OSHA, etc. and people can start saving their OWN $$, for their OWN h’care ‘expenses’....or whatever THEY wish to spend their $$ upon.

Political mathematics won’t allow for the federal government to just scrap all these programs. Sure they could try. But it’ll be like 1936 for the GOP in 2018 and many elections beyond that.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_House_of_Representatives_elections,_1936

Dems controlled the House 334-88 over the GOP. The Farm-Labor party had 5 seats and the Progressives had 8 seats.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Senate_elections,_1936

Dems controlled the Senate 76-16 over the GOP with 2 Farm-Labor, 1 Progressive, and 1 Independent.

The GOP needs to do a better job of keeping the real base happy and handling these issues wisely and doing it right in a way that won’t decimate them on Election Day. That means fixing the trade deficit (i.e. jobs created here and not overseas), fix the tax cheating that happens because of international trade, set the health care & education markets free, eliminate fraud in Medicare/Medicaid and make it really accountable.

And no more voter fraud risk either. Biometrics are a must, such as government photo ID for every voter. And no more racketeering & fraud on immigration. It’s time to start fining (and jailing) employers that hire illegal immigrants or local/State government leaders that do “sanctuary” immigration fraud.

Yeah, they’ve been doing SO well w/ the ‘small govt’ monkier since expanding DoEd, NSA, TSA, TARP, Q.E v.x, etc.

It’s not as if they followed or supported the Constitution anyway. They’ve never attempted to remove a rogue judge or counter the counter-culture.

They’ve never been in front of an issue to remind anyone just WHY they ‘oppose’...

It’s just over a year when the mask comes back out, like their hand for our $$ and votes. Hopefully, more peoples’ eyes are open this ‘round.
