Basically. The brothers of the gougee got together at a party, started a fight with nobody in particular, but a member of a different ethnic group, and when it turned into a riot, the brothers zeroed in on the gouger and paid him back in kind, then got into their boat and sailed off before anyone was the wiser, riot still going on full blast, and then stayed away for a year or so.
