The picture is bad. Team Trump has to be aware of the optics of the presidency.

The photographer was taking a sort of "tunnel" picture and Kelly's legs were in the way.

NO GIRL sits like that, ever .... ONE leg up and under maybe, but not both like that.

She was asked to move out of the shot and the photographer published the uncropped photo.

Yes, you do have a point there- but I disagree a bit.

I LIKE the un-polished ‘politics’ of this entire group, and I hope they do not try to conform to it.

I’ve lived my whole life with pablum-puking-polished-politicians (ooh! I like that one) and it makes me want to puke.

Could care less. After all the blow jobs in that office, nothing can be done to lower the already standards of the Oval Office. Sorry but it is an already diminished office.

I agree. It shows a lack of respect and decorum, which I would expect from the Obama folks but not from the Trump folks. If she wants to sit like that at home, fine, but not in the Oval Office. Methinks Kellyanne may be getting a little too big for her britches.

Team Trump is doing just fine. It’s the “optics” of the media that needs working on.

I agree that Kellyanne on the couch does detract from the photograph. Here's my question: Who took the picture? If it was the official White House photographer, why wasn't something said to Kellyanne before the picture was taken? Why wasn't she asked to either stand with the others for the photo, or move out of camera range before the photo was snapped? You would think the photographer would know that it was "bad optics."

I agree. Many times Pres Trump and his people fall to appreciate the importance of words and pictures. This is inexcusable since they know the media is out to damage or destroy the administration.

Agreed.

I used to cringe at the pics of Obama with his feet up on the desk.

“The picture is bad. Team Trump has to be aware of the optics of the presidency.”

The photographer should be fired. The Obama administration reviewed all the photographs and only allowed a very few to be released.

By the way every women understands that Kellyanne is in her stocking feet and is hiding them which is why she is sitting like that. She knows there is a photograph that is coming straight ahead. And she is trying to get a photograph from the side.

Somebody said Rice would never do this. But Rice is not a communications person. Kellyanne manages these photo ops. She is not Secretary of Defense.

I do agree this is fake news. People hate that Kellyanne has been very good at explaining Trump to women. So the press is trying to take her down.

LOL! A close female aid is comfortable enough to "upset the sensibilities" of those who had no problem with Obama putting his feet up on the Oval Office desk (a far more important piece of furniture than the sofa) and we have folks who have their own "concerns"....

No telling what kind of day she had before then and what was coming up next - worried that folks will think President Trump is playing Clinton games in the Oval Office?
