If only Mr. Stein had seen the light earlier. His failure to do so, spoke volumes about him.
The same could be said of St. Paul, Whittaker Chambers and Ronald Reagan, all late converts to their causes. It is often the late converts who are are most thoroughly convinced, because they know precisely why they had been wrong and what convinced them of the truth. We should always be wary of insincere late joiners who will ride the bandwagon as long as it is convenient, but without converts our political causes will never succeed. I think Ben Stein's praise of President Trump's speech before Congress speaks volumes about him.
