I'm not really surprised, though I admit I am dismayed by it.

So what Sessions needs to do is make sure that allies are placed on the Russian election interference issue. Then back away. We must not allow them to demand and get special prosecutors involved.

He does but I don't think he will, his recusal tells me he is not tough enough to go head to head with pure evil.

That may be the case, but it could also be the case that he does not want to detract from Trump and he is confident that the evidence will show that he is not guilty of anything.

To reassure people, he will do what none of Obama's Attorney General's would do, recuse themselves when appearances are being implicated as being more than there is. That's because with Obama's Attorney Generals there was something there.

While I personally would have rather seen him fight, I will not second guess what the correct course of action should be. He is one of those people I believe to be smarter than myself. I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time nor the last I'm sure. 8>)
