This will have the same impact that the Prop 65 cancer warning signs have which are plastered on EVERY product you buy and on EVERY building you enter. Zip, Zilch, Nada.
Electro-magnetic radiation (EMF) is produced by all alternating current sources. Your hair dryer, since it has a stationary brushes in contact with the revolving commutator, releases electro-magnetic radiation as current reversal occurs as the rotor rotates from pole to pole. Both your computer and monitor creates emit EMFs. Here is the List:
Sources of EMF:
Power Lines:
An enormous amount of electricity is created at power generating stations and sent across the country through wires that carry high voltages. All power lines radiate electromagnetic fields.
Transformer:
EMFs near a transformer can be quite high, but due to its small structure, the field strength diminishes rapidly with distance, as it does from any point source.
Home Wiring:
Loop wiring in the home may create large EMF.
Computers:
Computers are a complicated subject. Know this: EMFs radiate from all sides of the computer. Thus, you must not only be concerned with sitting in front of the monitor but also if you are sitting near a computer or if a computer is operating in a nearby room.
Electric Blankets and Water beds:
Electric blankets create a magnetic field that penetrates about 6-7 inches into the body.
Electric Clocks:
Electric clocks have a very high magnetic field, as much as 5 to 10 mG up to three feet away. If you are using a bedside clock, you are probably sleeping in an EMF equivalent to that of a power line.
Fluorescent Lights:
Fluorescent lights produce much more EMFs than incandescent bulbs. A typical fluorescent lamp has readings of 160 to 200 mg 1 inch away.
Microwave Ovens and Radar:
Microwave ovens and radar from military installations and airports emit two types of radiation–microwave and ELF.
Telephones and Answering Machines:
Telephones can emit surprisingly strong EMFs, especially from the handset. This is a problem because we hold the telephone so close to our head.
Electric Razors and Hair Dryers:
Electric razors and hair dryers emit EMFs as high as 200 to 400 mG.

It is only the “Free Obama Phones” that cause brain damage and its effect has been quite evident for several years now.
Radiation damage is somewhat random. But there are strong indications that small doses do no harm.
It is all about the dose. You see the same thing with chemical poisons. A “fatal” dose is determined by the effects. When half the population dies from a dose, that is the LD50 level (lethal dose, 50%) terminology.
There are many items that are essential for life that are lethal in sufficient quantities.

CRT TVs do emit a tiny amount of x-ray radiation ... If a B+ voltage regulator in a TV starts to fail, there’s a chance the TV can generate slightly more tiny amounts of x-ray radiation. The B+ voltage plays a role in regulating the high voltage needed by a CRT.
I’d want to see the effects of cell phone radiation compared to the effects of solar radiation. It’s probably like being in light shade at the very very worst.
OMG, think of the episodes of Ozzie and Harriet that have streamed through my body from Direct TV and Wifi. Scarey!
From an engineering standpoint, this is all old news, not surprising, and lots of people do take precautions. The PDF is so high-level that I don’t know what the problem is in reporting it. Would be helpful to see some stats and engineering data. Definitely not dismissing this, and people with kids should give it consideration and not rejection because of source or inconvenience.
