Think I was '97. Front page had image of Waco's Branch Davidian Mt. Carmel burning. It was like that for better part of a year, it seems.

Lost the email account. Had the strange password stashed there ---gibberish letters and numbers too, if I remember correctly. Could never remember it. Passwords were system generated, and not open to alteration by users in the early days... I think.
