Never before have I seen an MSM so utterly divorced from reality.
Maybe a close one:
After Drudge’s breaking the Monica Story —for maybe 7 months EVERY day his site headlined her.
Day after day the craziness mounted, and nary a single peep from the MSM.
It was like they were two parallel universes; visible to one another yet unable to reach across and touch.
There are many freepers now but in those days there were few; I even remember when one complete day of news at FR might span 25 threads or less.
We had HUNDRED of Monica experts before the outer US public had heard ANYTHING about her —they’d look at you like an alien visitor if you told them what was REALLY happening.
The sad thing is that they really (for the most part) believe the lies.
“I even remember when one complete day of news at FR might span 25 threads or less.”
Yep. Been a long time.

Exactly! I remember Clinton giving a speech at the University of Chicago. Three of us freepers showed up with signs to protest. He drove right by us with a stupid grin on his face. Others there looked at us like we were nuts. No pink pu$$y hat brigade showed up. Nobody cared.
Yes, and there was no internet, but somehow everybody knew he’d been dallyin’ with the interns. Then the blue dress showed up and BAM! everything went wild.
True That.
AP and CBS News both had the forged National Guard memos. I know CBS didn’t acknowledge the forgery controversy for 3 days and I don’t think AP was quick to report it either (CBS broke the original story because AP was going to get the jump on them).
The MSM cannot be trusted. They are a DemocRAT enterprise through and through.
And if a thread had more than 100 replies, it meant it was a blockbuster post. Now, an article with a funny mugshot gets that many. :\
I found FR because of a lot of that news. I started out as a Clinton supporter. Then I started hearing things. It didn’t make sense. Things were not what I was seeing, and finally, I started seeing it. Woke up. And was pretty pissed off about it. So, I was looking for a place to be. A home for understanding what happened.
