I am getting sick and effing tired of the scare tactics on both sides:
If we do Ryan’s bill we lose the majority. If we don’t, we lose the majority. If we do, it is obamacare-lite. If we don’t, we own Obamacare.
Enough with these GOP congresscritter beothces. Do your damn jobs and hammer out a bill. Get in a room and start working rather than counting down the days to the next recess. If I were Trump I would call a meeting. Aske Ron Paul, Ted, Tom and GOP Study group, to give tneir top four things that they want in the bill. Ryan should give his. Now, let’s negotiate from there and make sure that what makes it into this bill does the number uno thing most Americans care about, the thing that impacts their wallet, namely, lowering the effing premiums. Number two, let’s see how we can cover people without requiring them to buy insurance that covers everything including a hang nail.
Oh, and one more thing. Can we stop the reconciliation as an excuse and BS. The Dems passed this entire nightmare using reconciliation. We sure as shit can kill it using the same method without remorse.
I know, harder than it sounds. But at this point all I am seeing is Ryan and the Paul group (for lack of a better term) shouting “take it or leave it” at each other. That is never the “art of the deal.”
If we don’t, we own Obamacare.

One of the scenarios I see playing out here as a real possibility is a stalemate.
Ryan and Trump get all three phases of ObamaCare 2.0 together and votes are taken. Reconciliation votes are taken and in the end - it doesn’t pass.
The Dems and renegade Repubs can’t get it passed and we are stuck with ObamaCare. But “we” don’t own it. Them damn democrats do.
But the good news for all is that it is gutted. Funding has been removed and enforcement has been removed and this 20,000 plus page POS Bill is DOA.
I could live with that.
