Seems to me it’s a good thing to have Krekar’s sect of Wahabis fighting Syrian Baathists and Iran’s nastiest Shiites.

Obama betrayed the Saudis by thinking he could bridge the Sunni /Shia gap. The Iran deal was a disater for the Saudis. Now Saudi has Shiites controlling Iraq, and mcuh of Yemen. The Shia are prepsring to take Mecca.

Now America is back on to supporting the Sunna only, while protecting Saudi and helping the Saudis to diversify their economy.

The only Historical Turning Point I want to hear about is the commencement of bombing 9/11’s HQ in Riyadh.

SA should be taking in ME refugees, not funding jihadis in Syria.

Heck, the Saudis are funding jihad factories (mosques) in the U.S. They are funding the open teaching and propagandizing of is slime in public schools.

The Saudis are our enemy. What would be historical, and a nice change of pace, is if Trump nuked them as payback for 9/11.

There are new people, new generation in Saudi government.

In the recent past Saudi-US relations were based on payments to politicians.

With payments to the losing politicians no in the past, the new relations can be based on mutual self-interest ... and on reality.

Saw this guy on Bret Baier. Looks like Obama. Talks a good game while saying nothing. I wouldn’t trust him.

This is the Saudi War King.. he isn’t any of the lightweights from years ago. I see your rationale, but America stopped thinking about that on 9/13. I think know your enemies is warranted here. This guy was not responsible for 9/11.. but he holds enormous power and is an actionable power player.

The House of Saud has always played a double game—but I think they have met their match and more.

"For example, he said, Trump is unlikely to mount a major, costly effort to counter Iranian influence in Iraq, or to launch a full-scale campaign to oust Syrian President Bashar al Assad, as Riyadh might wish."

For now, these two boats of have sailed thanks to Obama. We'll have to work with Assad now. As for countering Iranian influence in Iraq, the only way I think we can do that is to get a new SOFA agreement after they kick ISIS out of Iraq. We need to have probably 10,000 troops stationed in Iraq. Sorry guys, it's not as good a duty station (not even close) as Germany or Okinawa, but it's gotta be done. We don't need troops in Germany, we need them in Iraq. That doesn't mean they are going on patrol outside the camp, it means they stay on their bases and train and stand ready. Just in case they are needed.

As for our other little problem, we need the Saudis to clean this situation in Yemen up most ricki tick to use an old Marine Corps saying. Whatever we can do to assist them to get Yemen back up and running with something that can be called a working government, we need to do. Otherwise, it's just going to be the next ISIS headquarters.

I cannot find anything about being friends or pals with the Saudis in this article. Looks Trump did quite well.

Trump: "OK Pallie, here's how it's gonna be.

In exchange for your oil (which we don't need by the way) we'll give you soap, deodorant, decent clothes and TOILET PAPER....all of which you obviously do need, big league..."

(phhhwew....holding nose)

And tomorrow will be sunny and bright on Uranus......BS.

Do not trust these stealing lying pos muslim goat humpers. They are the ones that turn the screws and pay the bills on the ruination of our country by the invading hordes.

The only good thing President Trump could have told them was, "One lil misstep and on the list you go, muzzie."

EXCLUSIVE: Persian Gulf Sheikhs Gave Bill & Hillary $100 Million [VIDEO]

A Daily Caller News Foundation investigation reveals that Bill and Hillary Clinton received at least $100 million from autocratic Persian Gulf states and their leaders, potentially undermining Democratic presidential candidate Hillary’s claim she can carry out independent Middle East policies.

As a presidential candidate, the amount of foreign cash the Clintons have amassed from the Persian Gulf states is “simply unprecedented,” says national security analyst Patrick Poole. “These regimes are buying access. You’ve got the Saudis. You’ve got the Kuwaitis, Oman, Qatar and the UAE. There are massive conflicts of interest. It’s beyond comprehension,” Poole told TheDCNF in an interview.

Overall, the Clinton Foundation has received upwards of $85 million in donations from five Persian Gulf states and their monarchs, according to the foundation’s website. Activist groups have charged the five states — Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — committed numerous human rights abuses.

==============================================

AND THIS---Course, this is just a wild guess on my part (smirk), but I don't think the Saudi Royals like being jerked around by a coupla hicks from Arkansas.

The Saudis put hundreds of millions into the Clintons pockets when she was Secy of State, thinking she'd be president. Must be a lot of nay-saying in the desert now that the Clintons are political dead meat.

==================================================

Turns out the Saudis helped stage Hillary's election night "victory"---giving her a huge expensive flat screen TV supposedly to air her crashing through a symbolic 500,000 dollar glass ceiling. (This from a kingdom where women are not allowed to drive).

Saudi Arabia Funded 20% Of Hillary's Presidential Campaign, Saudi Crown Prince Claims
Zerohedge ^ | Jun 14, 2016 3:57 AM | Tyler Durden / FR Posted by xzins

(NOTE: It is illegal in the United States for foreign countries to try to influence the outcome of elections by funding candidates. That appears not to have stopped the Saudis, however.)

“Saudi Arabia provided with full enthusiasm 20 percent of the cost of Hillary Clinton’s election"......the report quoted Saudi Prince Mohammed as having said. According to the US Federal Election commission, over the past two years Clinton has raised a little more than $211.8 million. 20% of this sum is $42.4 million.

The Saudi Press Agency reported on Monday that the senior royal was due to fly to Washington where he will meet Obama admin officials to discuss US-Saudi ties.

--SNIP--

Links between Saudi Arabia and the Clinton family, including with Hillary’s campaign, are well reported. In 2008, it was revealed that the Gulf kingdom had donated between $10m and $25m to the Clinton Foundation, a charity set up by Hillary’s husband and former US President Bill Clinton.

Last year the Centre for Studies and Media Affairs at the Saudi Royal Court paid public relations firm the Podesta Group $200,000 for a month- long project to provide “public relations services”. The Podesta Group was founded in 1988 by brothers John and Tony Podesta. John Podesta is the chair of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign.

The pay-to-play suck-up begins.

POINTS TO PONDER Obama's cut of the Saudi monies must have been substantial. B/c Pres Obama and Secy Hillary Clinton approved a record $100 billion in arms sales to Saudi Arabia

“..We need to have probably 10,000 troops stationed in Iraq....”

great point - remember that in the aftermath of WWII, it was keeping a substantial military force in Europe and Japan that a relative peace was maintained for many years.

And Hillary’s buddies, the Saudis, are into raping and killing little boys in basements, so I’ve heard. They, like Hillary, worship at the altar of the He/She goat god and do the “spirit cooking” and rituals. I am sure that the major international child-trafficking rings, like the Clinton’s in Haiti (Silsby), supplied the Saudis with some little boys and girls for some of those millions

Interesting that the Saudis were paying the “the Podesta Group $200,000 for a month- long project to provide “public relations services”” Hmmmmm. Didn’t Andrew Breitbart ‘tweet’ that Podesta was trafficking little children before he was conveniently Xed out?
