Aside from the dumb@$$3d nomenclature and hyperbolic panic, that fired rimfire brass is non-reloadable. It's "dead" -- and is less dangerous than an already-struck matchstick.

That imbecile of an educator and her bosses would soon get a visit from my attorney -- and I'm normally non-litigious...
