Malmö 'ISIS member' accused of terrorism for fire at Islamic center

A prosecutor has charged a Syrian man with terror offenses, alleging that he started a fire at a Malmö community center in order to spread fear in the name of ISIS.

Nobody was injured in the fire at a community center in Malmö owned by Shia Muslim organization Aldorr, but repair costs amounted to a million kronor ($113,000).

The 30-year-old suspect, who denies the charges and the allegations he is a member of ISIS, is accused of throwing Molotov cocktails at the center on October 11th last year, causing smoke damage to the building. …

Maybe they weren’t radical enough for him.

Or, maybe he was just a firebug.

Sometimes a criminally insane person is just criminally insane. But, if he is, Islam is waiting to take advantage and use him.

Could be that Sunni/Shi’a dichotomy. After all, he’s a Sunni accused of arson on a Shi’ite center.

Yes, I agree. I am looking at this story and trying to work out if it is a fake hate crime, or just a hate crime.
