From what I have read, the committee does not have a location in which the docs can be viewed or stored.
Also, carping about needing wider dissemination allows ignoring the content.
The Dems want that wider dissemination so they can get ahead of the truth, and spin their lies to the media who will lap it up. They want to be able to leak their version first.
