Rev. Wright's church preaches scorn on the "middle class" ... that's an interesting insight of yours.
The middle class is more independent than poor people and harder to herd. It also controls a large amount of wealth, until recent years, most of the wealth, and the Oligarchs want that wealth. The middle class is less likely to work for the oligarchs without more than nominal compensation.
