All this nonsense could be easily taken care of my admitting that all cultures are not equally successful. Human instincts evolved in a world where all wealth comes from nature and to succeed in a world where most wealth comes from human labor one has to undergo counter instinctive cultural progress.
Yes, in America the Black murder rate gravitates towards 70 per 100,000 a year. It does that in every country. In every country the white murder rate gravitates towards 10 per 100,000 a year. In America Blacks make around 35% less than whites. In Latin American countries the number is 50% less and in Europe its also 35% less. What happens in America also happens around the world.
The difference here is religion. We can’t deal with these issues directly because the majority wants salvation by faith alone to be the answer to all problems.
“the majority wants salvation by faith alone to be the answer to all problems.”
Your logic suddenly collapsed here.
America was made great, not by cheap slave labor, but by the Protestant work ethic.
The gradual slide to socialism and corruption of society has a direct correlation to the abandoning of this heritage.
Disputes over words and catch phrases aside, Protestants have historically had a faith that demands a life of hard work to demonstrate that faith.
Biblical faith is categorically separate from works as an agent of grace. But it is qualitatively inseparable from works as a demonstration of grace.
What, precisely, does this have to do with anything?
Your last statement makes no sense to me. Salvation by faith alone does not mean that the Christian is free to do anything he wants. There will always be consequences both here and here-after. Sins are forgiven, but rewards in Heaven are earned.
And in any event, the comment seems irrelevant to the topic under discussion without further explanation. I mean no offense, but I am not following your logic.
