Recall the saga of "Scooter" Libby (from former VP Cheney's staff) during the unmasking of Valerie Plame?

"Scooter" got serious jail time. And Shrub did not pardon him.

...slap on the wrist. Waters banking scandal, Reid railroad ....the higher up you are the more you can make. Play the game, get appointed to a hearing,make waves,no money for you, following the leadership can be very profitable,do it long enough and know the rules...no jail time for you..

Dubya didn’t pardon him but he did commute his prison sentence. He should have pardoned him though. What a farce that whole thing was.
