I’m sure she believes she’s not lying. Pol-speak allows one to “maintain a narrative until confronted by new facts”. Different than lying, and better, if you believe that the stupid public will never learn new facts. That’s where her wagon broke... probably once out of 500 ...

I think she just believes there’s no trail back to her. These PhD types rarely grasp digital log-files and how they work. They have an entire listing of her being logged on, and each time she requested a unmasking...that’s recorded in the log-file. It’s a fairly open and shut case if they just stick to the unmasking effort and why her duty required such information.

If I were her....I’d be sitting with a lawyer and discussing what kind of deal I could make and who I might be able to dump information about....to get out of this mess. Awful stupid behavior for someone to get into.
