I have been making a similar observation for years- I tell people that I have more respect for thug with gun- at least I know his intentions- where as the govt with pen or warrant can wreck my existence for no reason
Precisely. And at least thugs get policed and punished? Who watches the government? Nobody. They are the top of the food chain, with absolute power.
