Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said Wednesday that Ohio Gov. John Kasich should run for President again in 2020, challenging incumbent President Donald Trump in the Republican presidential primary.
Schwarzenegger made the endorsement in an interview with the Los Angeles Times:
“He should run in 2020, yes,” Schwarzenegger said in an interview with The Times when asked whether Kasich, whom he supported over Trump in the 2016 presidential race, should launch another presidential campaign.
“Kasich is an extraordinary guy. He’s a man of substance. He’s worked in Washington, he’s worked in local government, he’s worked in statewide government. He has the experience. He can see things. He has vision,” Schwarzenegger enthused. “He’s also a moderate. He’s a tough Republican and very fiscally conservative, but he also at the same time loves helping people.”

Arnold does not forget a slight, (real or imagined) is still very upset about Trumps publicly made ‘Apprentice’ remarks, and Arnold will hold a grudge until he ‘gets even’.
He’s always been like that, going back to when he owned property in Los Angeles, and found reasons to evict tenants so that he good charge higher rents. If someone was too resistant to accept his lease buy out offer, Arnold got mad.
Don’t be surprised when he joins forces with John McCain or Senator Schumer in the near future.

What do these people see in Kasich? I’ve been utterly unimpressed. He’s unpolished, he’s hard headed and does not give a flying flip what the voters want. He also may have some ugly skeletons in his closet if what I’ve read over the years has any basis in fact, going back to Gary Condit. Maybe that’s the attraction, he’s controllable because of the dirt.
