I’m fine with this, because it actually refutes what the Leftists shrill on about Garland.
So Mitch McConnell said they were NOT going to have hearings during an election year. And to top it off, Obama nominated an extreme liberal to take the place of Scalia, THE top conservative in SCOTUS. So EVEN if they did have hearings, they’d likely vote Garland down. Of course the media and the democrats would have used that to wail and whine in the election.
In any case, and this is my point:
The democrats had the opportunity to bring up McConnell not having hearings as a reason to vote democrat for all the Senators up for election. And in FACT, they did.
HOWEVER... The American (at least those who got off their duffs to vote) said NO. The democrats failed to take back the Senate, and moreover, the voters chose Trump over Clinton.
So now, when the democrats state that they’re just getting even with the Republicans for blocking the Garland vote, I say, no, no, NO!
You’re trying to get even with the people who voted GOP.
You had your chance and people rejected it. Your fight is not with the Republicans, but rather with the American people! Just keep pissing them off, and we on the Right will have a GREAT 2018!!
And, let me point out that Kaine faces an election in 2018, and the GOP is going to seriously contest it. In fact, I’ll go out on a limb and predict Kaine loses his seat.

Same goes for the top of the ticket. Hope the Dims keep it up in coming elections as the voters get wiser to the lyin’ hyprocracy of the Demonrat party...(I hope the voters get wiser)........sigh
