that’s the most pathetic statement of the day.
He is going to defeat Syria and Russia and put in place a secular power and all will be glorious.

Trump said.......“Tonight I ordered a targeted military strike on the airfield in Syria from where the chemical attack was launched,” ..... “It is in this vital national security interest of the United States to prevent and deter the spread and use of deadly chemical weapons.”
He was quite specific about why he did this. He also touched on bringing all parties to the table again...and this has just set the stage for that as well.
IMO Russia and Trump are on the same page regarding putting this war in Syria to an end. How that equation works out has ‘new hope’ because every time all the parties there had an agreement ‘it was Obama and Kerry’ who would not agree....and the war continued.
So far Trump has known exactly what he’s doing. I really hate ISIS. I also hate attacking countries that haven’t done anything to us. But given that Trump has information we don’t have and he is the first pro-American(s) president since Reagan, I’m going to cut him some slack.
