He’ll be governor soon.

Governor? I was thinking that the Democrats had found their 2020 presidential candidate.

Doesn’t WA, like CA and TX, have “nonpartisan” mayors?

As long as “$10 per time” comes out to $15 per hour, he’ll be considered a respectable employer.

Only if he also paid payroll taxes, provided health care, and gave them six weeks of paid leave.

I wouldn’t mind seeing God send a tsunami to wipe Seattle off of the face of the Earth.

Judgement is fast approaching, in God's timing.

It seems the career-ending "caught with a dead girl or a live boy" line doesn't hold anymore.

Simpson tried to bring a lawsuit against Murray in 2007, with Anderson’s support, but his lawyer withdrew from the case.

In 2008, Simpson started calling media organizations and lawmakers in Olympia, saying Murray, then a state senator, was a pedophile who had sexually abused him.

When the alleged abuse began, one of them reportedly talked with a social worker and detective.

Simpson and Anderson raised the allegations a decade ago in calls to reporters and Washington state lawmakers, and they repeated them in recent interviews with the Times.

No charges were filed and an entry in an old Multnomah County district attorney’s database indicates the office considered but rejected a felony third-degree sodomy case in May 1984.

Any other police and child welfare records would have been destroyed by now, officials said.

He repeatedly raped a 15-year-old boy for 5 years? It is not possible to do that. He wouldn’t be 15 any more.

Writer needs to clarify.

Only if you’re a Republican.

He’s a democrat, right?

And believes illegal minors should have the ‘right’ to live in his city...

Minors who can be abused easily, right? Cheap labor for some - sex slaves for others.

Democrats are evil.

Hasn’t since Ted!!!

But you’re right. Now even the not so powerful politicians make comebacks from what was once an impossibility.

Dems are trying to normalize this kind of thing anyway.

*I wouldn’t mind seeing God send a tsunami to wipe Seattle off of the face of the Earth.*

Please, no.

My son lives there. There are plenty of conservatives in the Seattle area (think Gig Harbor) but even so that is a bit harsh.

The buzz is Governor Crazy Mouth (Inslee), who I need dramamine when I watch him speak, is eying the white house. Almost as dumb as Patsy Murphy.
