I fear Neil Gorsuch is going to be another Kennedy on the court. Don’t think he will turn into Souter; but, I don’t think he is all that conservative either. We will see. Perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised.

The fact that he belongs to a very liberal church is troubling to me. We shall see.

It IS a liberal denomination, but it is politically untouchable BECAUSE of that.

Both Pence and Gorsuch are perfect examples of what we here in FreeRepublic often say .... it is the man, not the party.

The past of the man is readily available and it can be utilized to determine a man's future.

One thing a lot of people sidestep in making those kinds of determinations is the fact that a lot of years have passed between then and now, and as a man of years myself, I know I was once a Crazy Diamond, but I survived and learned and grew and though I may have the memories of that Diamond existence and will attest to its' influence, It is not the same me .. now.

It should concern you more that he converted from Roman Catholicism TO that pro-abortion, pro-gay church as an adult.
