after being confirmed by the Senate last week following a controversial rule-change by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to avoid a Democratic filibuster.

Nothing 'controversial' about Harry Reid nuking the filibuster for circuit court judges in 2013, huh Yahoo?

I don’t care if they call it controversial, just that they did it.

The Reid Rule was controversial when the dems did it a few years ago.

All that was done now was an extension of the Reid Rule to include when voting on Supreme Justice votes.

This is the only thing I have ever seen that Reid was responsible for that turned out good for our Constitutional Republic.

The fact is, Harry Reid made it very clear at the time that he understood his rule would set a precedent for SCOTUS nominees and that he completely intended for it to.
