Trump’s Border Wall to Kick Off in San Diego California – Walls Up to 30 Feet High

One of President Trump’s campaign promises was to build a wall along the border of the United States and Mexico to help curb illegal immigration and cartel violence and drugs which have been plaguing our country for years.

The wall is set to kick off in the San Diego border community of Otay Mesa, U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed Monday according to the San Diego Union Tribune. Although the construction is beginning with prototypes, there are documents revealing that wall construction will start in San Diego, CA.

Yes the wall is a great idea and we should welcome it. But it will not stop all of it.

No one suggested or implied a wall would stop all of it. Even when you empty and shake out a bag of sugar, a few grains will remain.

And I think you're trying to explain for every action, there is a reaction. Human nature. But walls work well and have for hundreds of years.

And it's not just a good idea, it's imperative it be built and should have been built/implemented 25+ years ago.

And where the wall is not built due to natural/physical barriers, other forms of security can be double up etc. It's not real complex.

Of course the big problem for decades now is not securing the borders, the main problem has always been the corrupt SOB's who've been in power had no intentions of ever securing our borders. Zip.

And why millions are crawling all over our cities and states.

Too bad those in D.C. have yet to be held criminally responsible for all the harm/carnage they've intentionally created and caused over the decades. If I had it my way, the last several presidents would be facing Nuremberg style trials over the failure to secure our own borders.

Here is a few ideas I would throw in:
Build Private resorts/casinos alongside the wall with viewing towers and have binoculars etc, for prices with all funds going to the wall project.
Also have shooting ranges at each resort-not because it’s there to shoot illegals, but the sound of gunshot is a strong deterrents!
Finally, they need vehicle auctions for when ICE and border patrol agents confiscate illegal “coyotes” vehicles, again with the proceeds going to help with the wall costs.
If congress won’t participate and pass funding, we will put American know how and ‘Git ear done’ attitude to work!

You make some great points.

On her way out our dear and beloved (about puked) Kay Bailey Hutchinson pulled the fast one of shutting down the '96 wall.

Then of course we cannot forget Clinton's futile attempt with the NG of shutting down the border until the little goat herder got whacked. No stomach for it. Will send American boys half way around the world to die but when one prospect brown voter dies on the border, pull out.

And the biggest is the SOBs you talk about not wanting to secure it. The big business farmers, the mega growers who employ thousand upon thousands at low wages of migrants. These come in, work 3-5 months out of the year then go on welfare for the rest of the year with help from the Mexican Consulate aided by our own Government. Who picks up the tab, you and me. Oh, and I almost forgot, these mega growers get their subsidies from the FERAL Government when their crops do not produce to par because of all of the crop regulations. One big money making ponzi scheme.

Presidents and their admin should have been on trials years ago. We would catch these illegal grass crawling invaders at night. Spend all night in the South Texas brush running around with the rattle snakes, cougars and shin deep in sugar sand trailing and corralling them up just to see them standing in front of a bus station across from the HEB in Falfurrias, TX the next morning. Good ol "catch and release"at its finest. What BS.

Texas has been defending its border for some time now on its own and I guess it can do it for a while longer until President Trump's wall gets here.

They been doing a piss poor job.

Well why don't you nut up and bring your pos ass down here to south Texas and see what you can do.

I bet you would not last two days before one of the MS13 or cartel smugglers has your head in a sack or your body in a drum of acid.

That is what I despise about whiners like yourself. You sit back and whine but when there is a job to be done, you sit back and whine. Porch puppy

Pius Texans like yourself brag about how tough you are while your state is turning bluer than California. Can't even bring rogue sheriffs under control.

I will give the Governor credit he is much tougher and smarter than big hair ever was but lets see if he can get legislation through the fake speaker of the Texas House.

Bragging is not the same as doing, but it is the Texas way.

You know the next census it 3 years away right?

Go back to your room and take your meds you ol senile ol fart. HEY quick someone take his keyboard away from him

Once the illegal voting and wetbacks start hauling their tortillas back south of the Rio things are going to be looking up.

Our Governor is taking care of Austin and other sanctuary cities as we speak.

The "bluers" got their crap together and are organized. My sister, wife and I had a long talk about this last night. Our County Republicans end fight while the "bluers" are on a mission to take over. It has got to stop. The end fighting goes all the way to Washington.

Experience is a valuable teacher to bad you don't have that to help you out.

I know you hope Your governor will take care of Austin, maybe he will, but no politician to date has actually suggested they will enforce the laws already on the books.

Shamelessly Stolen from Freeper eyeamok.

Federal Immigration and Nationality Act
Section 8 USC 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv)(b)(iii)

“Any person who . . . encourages or induces an alien to . . . reside . . . knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such . . . residence is . . . in violation of law, shall be punished as provided . . . for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs . . . fined under title 18 . . . imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both.”

Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A):

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization, or local government) commits a federal felony when she or he:

• assists an alien s/he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him or her to obtain employment, or

• encourages that alien to remain in the U.S. by referring him or her to an employer or by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or

•knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime. Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his or her work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

Recruitment and Employment of Illegal Aliens

It is unlawful to hire an alien, to recruit an alien, or to refer an alien for a fee, knowing the alien is unauthorized to work in the United States. It is equally unlawful to continue to employ an alien knowing that the alien is unauthorized to work. Employers may give preference in recruitment and hiring to a U.S. citizen over an alien with work authorization only where the U.S. citizen is equally or better qualified. It is unlawful to hire an individual for employment in the United States without complying with employment eligibility verification requirements. Requirements include examination of identity documents and completion of Form I-9 for every employee hired. Employers must retain all I-9s, and, with three days’ advance notice, the forms must be made available for inspection. Employment includes any service or labor performed for any type of remuneration within the United States, with the exception of sporadic domestic service by an individual in a private home. Day laborers or other casual workers engaged in any compensated activity (with the above exception) are employees for purposes of immigration law. An employer includes an agent or anyone acting directly or indirectly in the interest of the employer. For purposes of verfication of authorization to work, employer also means an independent contractor, or a contractor other than the person using the alien labor. The use of temporary or short-term contracts cannot be used to circumvent the employment authorization verification requirements. If employment is to be for less than the usual three days allowed for completing the I-9 Form requirement, the form must be completed immediately at the time of hire.

Yes I used this piece in my presentations on illegal immigration I gave starting in '04 around Texas including the Austin area.

Was threatened several times at these venues because I was over the Texas Minutemen at the time and was recruiting volunteers to Stand the Line.

Amazing how a person will sit at a keyboard and punch in the law all day long (like yourself) but never show up to stand a watch on the border that they want secured. Now do not say it is your age holding you back because in '04 we had some volunteers that were 80 years young that showed up and wanted to stand watch. And stand watch they did. I would put one of my higher ups with them so that they would have plenty of protection and off they went into the South Texas brush on the line for a night of hunting illegals.

Yep, spent over 10 years down there hunting illegals working with BP, CSO, DEA, FBI. Studying the laws and studying how these wetbacks and MS13 smugglers worked. Started up a bloodhound team to find tunnels and hunt harder. 10 years of experience to your what? ZERO?? So it is not the age that adds the experience to a persons grand total of knowledge it is what he does in those years. So what I see is your are playing catch up

Trying very hard not to catch up with Texas where Bull $hit is sold by the ton.

Denying that your state is being overrun with Socialists won't prevent it from happening.
