Rolling Stone settles, but fight over UVA rape story isn't over

Rolling Stone magazine settled a University of Virginia administrator's lawsuit over its discredited story about a rape on campus, but its legal fights over the botched article aren't over.

Attorneys for Rolling Stone and Nicole Eramo announced this week that they reached a confidential settlement over the 2014 story "A Rape on Campus," putting an end to the lengthy case stemming from the now-debunked claims of a woman identified only as "Jackie."

"We are delighted that this dispute is now behind us, as it allows Nicole to move on and focus on doing what she does best, which is supporting victims of sexual assault," Libby Locke, an attorney for Eramo, said in a statement.

Rolling Stone called it an "amicable resolution."

The magazine still faces a more than $25 million lawsuit filed by the University of Virginia chapter of the fraternity where Jackie claimed she had been raped, which is scheduled to go to trial in October. A separate lawsuit from three former fraternity members was dismissed last year.

In solidarity with false accusation victims, I bought this book.

given how all schools, both public and private get federal funding, the massive impact on one's life, and society as a whole, that creating an underclass of expelled males can have, warrants that people understand why upholding due process in universities matters. Neil Gorsuch, one of your first acts on the SCOTUS is to rule in favor of due process on campuses, given the inevitability that it comes to you guys.

Make process due again. Make America Great Again!

The “rape epidemic” exists for a few reasons:

1. The Democrats need a way to whip up voters
2. To make real, straight men less likely to act like men, as in chase tail, so as to make being a homo easier and less abnormal.
3. Gays want to get back at society for the fact that most people want nothing to do with them sexual/romantically
4. Ugly/fat chicks and guys with no game want to get back at society for their sexual frustration

Meanwhile...the islam rapeugees and otherwise wastes of DNA freely rape, pillage and plunder their way to a free ride.

To even ask how stupid someone has to believe that 72 virgins await them after death is to be stupider than the islams acting out stupidity and evil.

“... as it allows Nicole to move on and focus on doing what she does best, which is inventing victims of sexual assault and costing whichever idiots stupid enough to employ her crap tons of money in settlements.”
