Good Lord how do we get such stupid people on our side?
I agree; how do these guys get elected.
Both sides have plenty of stupid people. The stupidity of only one side is openly mocked and ridiculed.
Go figure.
I just think stupid and arrogant people in general gravitate toward politics. They pick whatever label gives them the best chance of success in the area where they live, but the stupidity and arrogance is a constant. :)
It's not just "our" side. It's the definition of the swamp. The animals that are always drawn there.

It becomes a permanent affliction. Definitely NOT what the founders had in mind.
The swamp started needing draining decades ago. Nothing surprises me.
