“It sounded like something Google would be very stupid to do, but Google has the data.

If it’s been Gator Mouth denied, however, that lends credence to the suspicion.”

1. You are stalking and harassing me, now on two threads.
2. You are trying to hijack the thread.

Please act like an adult.

Are you sure about that? Prospective employers may have different values than you. Prejudice against “conservatives” is real. Imagine if a, say, 22 year old today should be job hunting and his or her search history reveals enthusiasm for Donald Trump. MANY people would hold that against the applicant, and laws against that wouldn’t help, as people would not admit that was the reason. For not giving someone a job.

Sounds like a GREAT class-action suit..!

I believe PUNITIVE damages are based on the financial “size” of the tort faisor, right..?

I SHUDDER to contemplate how high they might go with the “Don’t Be Evil”-set.

BILLIONS..??

“We hold your personal information to the highest standards of confidentiality. We would never sell it.”

Sell? No. Google won't sell it. They'll lease your personal information.

If we learned ANYTHING during the corrupt Clinton Crime Regime of the 90's, it's how to parse sentences to see what they really mean.

Won’t happen because it would be evil. Don’t be evil.

This invasion of privacy by Google is exactly why my new Android smartphone is turned off and sitting in a drawer — forever. Sadly, I learned after the 14-day return period that you must create a Google account for full functionality. Not gonna happen. I’ve been shopping for a flip phone or a BlackBerry — while paying a ridiculous amount monthly for something I can’t use.

"...quickly Google a prospective employee before asking them to come in for an interview."

Quickly? Hahahahahaha!

This person has obviously never spent a minute trying to glean any useful data about a prospective employee using Google. It's easier said than done.

I do not use my real name on any of my internet postings or accounts.

Being in business, I don't have that luxury. Wish I did sometimes, but ah well. Cost of doing business.

There are things that I don’t research on the internet, for this very reason.

If you’re looking to see how bad it is, you’re instantly considered to be interested for the wrong reasons.

I landed on one web page years ago, and it was so bad I notified the FBI about it.

They acted about as concerned as if I’d just said, “Yes, I’d like butter on my toast, thank you.” It made me question if I’d every tell them about anything else I happened across.

Sell the phone on Ebay and keep the contract, using a non-Android phone.

Apple iPhones can be had for less if getting the last generation. I have an iPhone 6+, and it’s still great.

The “Redneck” is a juvenile, sophomoric troll who stalks & harasses those he builds grudges against. Tag you’re it!

Best to ignore the child.

“This is why I use StartPage.”

You do realize it says ‘Enhanced by Google’?

By the way, I have the first large screen iPhone with 128GB and it is TWO generations old. It's what I am saying is great.

You will want to call your phone service provider to see how to best set up your phone for a clean state to sell. You want to sell saying it is a “Clean ESN.” This means it is not restricted by contract. You will have to buy out any remaining phone company interest, if you haven't completely paid for the device, yet.

It should sell well being effectively new.
