Why Were Foreign Intelligence Agencies Spying on Trump?
American Thinker ^ | April 18, 2017 | Brian C. Joondeph

Last month, Fox News regular Judge Andrew Napolitano claimed that President Obama and his cronies used British intelligence to spy on then candidate Donald Trump. That certainly caused a stir among the higher-ups at Fox News. A week later the outspoken judge was suspended from Fox.

More specifically, Judge Napolitano accused the Obama administration of doing an end run around the U.S. intelligence community, using GCHQ, the British spy agency, to do its dirty work. GCHQ has unfettered access to the NSA database. Meaning that the Brits could request transcripts of conversations between the Trump campaign and any foreign players, then pass those transcripts on to the Obama inner circle. Leaving President Obama, Susan Rice, and others with deniability and no fingerprints on this domestic spying scheme.

"Judge Napolitano’s revelation, now confirmed, suggests that foreign allies might have been making contributions to Hillary Clinton, not in cash, but in something far more valuable: information. Perhaps obtained legally but clearly not ethically or honorably. They were “betting on the come” currying favor with the expected Clinton administration, offering up something money can’t buy. Information."

It appears that not only was the Obama administration spying on Trump. They were telling foreign governments to assist because Clinton was sure to win and they would be rewarded by the upcoming, corrupt Clinton administration.

Globalism is communism in an XXXL coat.

By controlling every government you control the world, not just one nation.

I’ve also wondered if, because of the well-known Clinton connections, they also wanted to get evidence that Trump also was getting money from Russian sources, to use as leverage in the event he wanted to use that against Hillary.

But I read on DUmp that the real reason they surveilled Carter Page was because Trump had made a video in which he committed treason and then sent Page to Russia to broker a deal. Even some DUmpsters were not buying that idea, but I think it’s been “proven” by someone on CNN...

Globalism is communism. That’s pretty profound and I think true.

Because the CIA is, legally, not allowed to spy within the USA. That territory belongs to the FBI.
So we spy on our allies, and our allies spy on us, and then the CIA trades info with them, neatly circumventing the law.

The term “legally” has naught to do with justice or what is right, but everything to do with bringing money and power to corrupt lawyers, judges and politicians. This was a crime against U.S. Citizens, period.

Because it is completely legal for any country to spy on another. There is no “international law” against it, as “international law” doesn't really exist. Treaties and negotiated “understandings” are what we have.

Britain has access to our NSA information to legally spy on Trump for the 0bama Administration. We have allowed this, with only, at best, directive controls to “stop” abuse. As with every company, “we only hire trustworthy people.” So anything they do is okay, because government employees across the globe are “well-intentioned.”

The problem is that we allowed the tools to exist. Tools are amoral—it's up to each individual to use them in a “moral” way.

We are human, so all such tools eventually are used to subjugate and kill “unwanted” citizens. This is why the creation of the United States was so unique in recorded history, as it was initially founded on principles of individual liberty first, government last.

Yes, and to their everlasting shame Fox News contributed to this debacle by their disgraceful actions against Judge Napolitano. As far as Faggot Boy Shep Smith is concerned, his face is long off of the TV screen in our home. He’s a disgraceful piece of crap that is also a blight on Faux News.

“This is why the creation of the United States was so unique in recorded history, as it was initially founded on principles of individual liberty first, government last. “

Unfortunately current circumstances forced you to use the word INITIALLY, because it is certainly not true today.

“it is completely legal for any country to spy on another. There is no “international law” against it, s “international law” doesn’t really exist.”

The Obama administration and foreign governments both spied on Trump and his campaign beginning in 2015.

It is clear that both Clinton and the Obama administration wanted foreign governments involved.

Hopefully, one day we will be able to get past the lies and deception of the media and the so called “intelligence” community and learn the whole story of what really happened.

It seems to me that soliciting intelligence on US citizens from foreign countries is against the law.

Theory: because Obama asked them to — plausible deniability.

ConservativeMind, you bring up interesting points...all point to a party of Progressives (socialists) who don't want or have use for our Constitution...that is one reason they have put up such a fight, why Obama left so many trip-wires for Trump.

I do not think so. The article does a pretty good job explaining how information could be gathered and fed to U.S. politicians for political advantage by our allies.

Why just Trump? Who else were they spying on is a question that needs to be asked.

Throwing firecrackers and bottles at police is against the law, and yet...Berkeley.

Anonymously revealing 'secret' information to the news media is against the law, and yet... Dems.

Voting more than once in an election is against the law, and yet... every election.

“Why just Trump? Who else were they spying on is a question that needs to be asked.”

The problem is no one will tell the truth about what really went on.

Judge Napolitano almost lost his job with Fox News merely for telling the truth about a small part of this.
