This was supposed to “help” Donald Trump? On the face of it, it is WAY more likely that Seth Rich died because he knew the goods on Herself, and was about to go public with it. Putin was doing what he could to PREVENT the election of Donald Trump, who would be far more intractable than Herself, when it came to international confrontations.
Just consider the lobbing of missiles on Bashar al-Assad’s air base in Syria. This was a direct assertion on the part of Trump that the dynamic in Syria had to change, and it sure caught the attention of Putin. No more “lines in the sand” that would be simply forgotten about, never acted on. Or the movement of NATO troops into Poland, readying for further provocations in the Ukraine, would Herself have considered such a move? And the permission to the commanding general in Afghanistan, to “do what was necessary” to shut down the ISIS camp on the Pakistani border, would Herself have allowed that?
Looks to me like a GOP end-around on Trump, myself.

The primary FBI - retired - source for this piece is a Clinton Watts. I looked him up and didn’t come away with anything more substantive than supposition and [ooga-booga] “Russians!” [gasp, horrors, me oh my].
