A disturbing video of teenagers fighting is making its rounds on social media.
The video, taken in a bathroom stall at T.W. Browne Middle School, shows an older male student punching and then stomping on a younger boy, who pleads for the attacker to stop. Other students can be heard laughing.
Both students have been identified. Sources say the victim in the attack was taken to a hospital as a precaution. He suffered minor abrasions and bruising to his back.
Sources tell WFAA a 13-year-old boy has been arrested on a charge of “injury to a child” in connection with the incident. He has been taken into juvenile custody.
"It's something that sickens me,” said T.W. Browne alum Jorge Rodriguez who went to the school on Wednesday looking for assurances from school administration that his younger brother was safe at the school. His brother, a 6th grader, was not involved in the incident.

Every grade in school I was always the tallest.
And every grade in school the smallest kid would pick on me.
I put up with it year after year, Christian upbringing, no fighting etc.
Then in 10th grade the smallest kid was at it again. Something took over me when he was waiting for me with his belt in his hand. Seemingly on auto-pilot I proceeded to beat the living crap out of him. Never got bullied again. Better late than never.
That little savage learned that from the hood. That wasn’t a ‘boy’ fight. That was a straight beat down violent chimpout from an experienced brawler. I guarantee that school has had a ton of problems with that little savage and his gang of savages BUT, they can’t discipline a poor minority kid. The school’s website shows it is a thug training center. It is in Spanish and English. Only “clear” backpacks may be used to “speed up” the security screening to enter the school. Everyone has to wear ID badges. There is a “turnaround” plan to address chronic under-performance and violence.
I pray for any good kid who is forced to attend that dump.
Something similar happened to me in Jr high. I was smaller and shy. One day one of my ‘friends’ talked another kid into walking up and socking me in the stomach. His first attempt wasn’t anything as it was at an awkward angle and I just said - what are you doing? Then he did it again. We started to square off and some older kids broke us up and then they left as I kept walking.
Well...he did it again knocking my glasses off soon as they rounded the corner. After that I blacked out. When I came to I was being pulled off him and people were streaming out of the resteraunt across the street to help break us up. There was blood on my boot. He was missing his two front teeth. I’ll admit I was bawling up a storm, just wanted to be left alone after taking so much crap so many years.
No one bothered me much after that, other than typical ribbing. We ended up being friends - oh not ‘good’ or ‘best’ friends but friends just the same.
Haven’t had a black out like that since, but have had issues controlling my temper. Wondered at times if it’s related to Scot/Irish blood in me and what some term ‘berserker’ rage where clan warriors would kill even their own in battle without knowing it.
Bullies have some kind of psych issue. I took their crap until I learned that fighting back was the only thing that worked. After doing that, they always wanted to be friends. Last time this happened to me was after high school, in the service. I took it and took it and took it and then I racked a mattock handle across his shins. Then he treated me like his best friend.
Forgot to mention he was head and shoulders taller than me - how I ever got my boot up to his mouth, which I’m guessing is how he lost his teeth, I have no clue.

I’m a gal and had the same happen. She pushed me one too many times and I punched the ever -lovin’ crap out of her face. We both got corporal ....but that didn’t matter. I stood up for myself. My folks agreed.

It can also happen as a result of home psychological and physical abuse. Some parents will reflexively beat the whatsis out of a misbehaving kid when it wasn’t necessary or even helpful. The kid embraces this as generally right and a thug is often born. Or if sufficiently sensitive, a perpetually conflicted truculent masochist. Christian doesn’t mean to tolerate this, but neither does it mean knock down drag out brawl.
You got that right! I thought it may be those descendants or those of African heritage. It turned out that it was not white!
And Democrat Truancy Officers will force the children back into the violent hell hole school to propagandize them.
Democrats are very abusive to children just to make a buck.
When a Cub Scout, ‘50-’53, our Den Mother arranged afternoon tours for us. Once was the US Post Office and we built a model afterwards. Another was the County Jail and Sheriff’s Deputies led us on a tour where we could view the inmates behind bars. ....The inmates knew better than to say anything taunting or nasty to us, because in those days the Deputies would have made them pay...physically.
That jail tour did have an impact on us kids, though, and none of us was ever in a County lockup later in life.
Your Den Mother knew how to be a mother. The kids had common sense back in the '50's and just seeing the inmates behind bars drove home the point.
Today's "kids" think they are quite worldly, and with access to the internet they may be, at least on the surface. Today, they need more of a shock to make the same point.
(Always thought the years 1946 through 1964 was one of the sweet spots in our culture, with the obvious exception of the Korean conflict and JFK's assassination.)
