The Jihadi’s (ISIS and the Arab militias that McCain & Obozo hired to bring down Assad.)

SDF, YPG, YPJ never sought to overthrow Assad (Assad is bad guy but overthrow would bring worse to Syria).

I think Trump understands this. But Iran is a part of the mix. And a serious threat to Israel.
