Chinese Media: 'China's Intervention Not Needed When Only N.K.'s Nuke Facilities Are Hit'
The Dong- A Ilbo ^ | April 24, 2017

A Chinese state-run media outlet said that if North Korea continues nuclear and missile development, China may not provide military support to China even if the U.S. launches preemptive strike on the North. China and North Korea have agreed to provide military assistance if one of them gets under military attack, and hence the latest report is construed as Beijing's stern warning against Pyongyang.

If the U.S. launches surgical strikes on North Korea's nuclear facilities, China will seek diplomatic deterrence but military intervention is not needed, China's state-run Global Times said on Saturday. However, the daily repeated its previous stance that if the U.S. and South Korean militaries cross the 38th parallel to invade the North and seek to topple the North Korean regime, China should immediately start military intervention."

Sounds suspiciously like the Chinese, through their state run media, are giving President Trump the go ahead to launch a strike on NK’s nuke facilities. Hell, they may even WANT him to do it. Would solve a lot of problems for them without reuniting Korea and putting a pro-western Korea on their doorsteps.

There seems to be real movement in China’s posture. We’ll see how this goes...

China is in no way opposed to letting the US do the dirty work they feel obligated not to do because of treaties with NK. China and the US would both gain a degree of security, China would instantly have immensely more control and influence over NK, no nasty drawn out war or nuclear exchange. And best off all for all involved, FatBoy would be turned into lard and chicharrones.

The big question is “What will China do if NK responds by starting artillery shelling of Seoul, and the US has to do whatever it needs to do to stop that?”

Trump should understand that China will use a Trump strike as reasons to build up their military. China will take advantage. Its not whether China wants this or not. They very well may. But then they will condemn the USA and tell the two sides that negotiation is better. China will move its army very close to NK. It may even enter if the US oversteps.

The best thing for Trump would be for the little fat boy to quiet down and shut up on his own.

China doesn’t need an excuse to ramp up their military.

But Japan does and a nuclear North Korea is going to get Japan into the game, which China does not want.

Fat Boy is pushing China into a corner.

"The big question is “What will China do if NK responds by starting artillery shelling of Seoul, and the US has to do whatever it needs to do to stop that?”"

Exactly!

If NK's nuclear/missile program is attacked, it would be almost impossible for NK not to massively retaliate against Seoul. At that point, all bets are off.

A potential Trump would be to tell China that, if NK does not stop, then he's not going to oppose Japan and Taiwan getting their own nuke development, and will take the treaty leash off of Japan's military.

Then theres no justification for US first strike,it would inevitably kill 100,000s US citizens in SK & wipe out Seoul.which would benefit China
